Course Outline

Thursdays, 6:15-8:15pm Students will learn elementary vocabulary and basic grammar step by step. The lesson will cover the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and interactive practices through which students can start to use the language actively and develop communication skills. • Talking about the number of items and the prices • Dates, days of the week, and time • Talking about daily routine • Weather expressions • Negative expression of verbs and adjectives • Irregular predicates in ‘ㅂ’ • Talking about the weather and seasons • Talking about where I went and what I did on the weekend Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
