Course Outline This course was designed by Sergei as a quick introduction to laser cutting and 3D printing, which are popular manufacturing technologies across modern industries and businesses among educators, craftsmen, DIY hobbyists and more. No matter what your role or profession background is, this entry level course is an open inventive field where digital design is combined with laser cutting technology to challenge your creativity, design and modelling skills, an gives your inspiration a new space to fly. You will learn: the basics of operation and service CNC laser cutter, essentials of design for laser cutting, paper, cardboard, plywood modelling techniques, best practices of paper cutting art and how to work with public laser cutting libraries. You will also explore potential roles as a 3D modeler, digital sculptor, additive technologist, or business prototyper, while crafting impressive 3D prints for personal or professional use. After this course you will be familiar with the laser cutter Emblaser 2 and the design software Lightburn, and you will be well-versed in FlashForge 3D printers, 3D design software (TinkerCAD, Fusion 360, ZBrush), creating 3D printing projects and more.
