Course Outline
Term 4: Korean for Beginners 2 - 8 weeks This course is ideal for students who are in the previous term. Thursday 6:30 – 8:30 pm • Asking and answering about weather • Making suggestions • Asking and answering about location • Giving directions • Using honorific form of informal polite endings • Learning kinship terms and honorific forms of nouns and verbs • Introducing family members Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
