Course Outline
Watercolour is known as a difficult medium, but applying a few essential techniques make it incredibly rewarding. In this techniques based course we practise how to watch, predict and handle the sometimes unexpected results in transparent watercolour. We will also look at colour theory, composition and atmospheric perspective working from a variety of subjects including found objects, still life and our own imagination. Experienced watercolourists may wish to pursue their own projects as part of this course in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Come and join other people who love to paint. Suitable for beginners and all levels who would like to refresh their ideas and techniques. Artist’s quality materials and equipment are included in the course fee. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
