Course Outline
Why Russian language? If you want to find out more about the interesting and unknown world of Russia beyond the stereotypes such as vodka, Red Square, beautiful women and not smiling people, the there is only one way to do it - learn the Russian language! Russia is the biggest country in the world by land. Russian is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. More than 260 million people around the world converse in the Russian language. According to the language catalog, The Ethnologue, Russian is the 8th most spoken language in the world. Russia has a fascinating culture. Being able to converse in the language will allow you to understand Russian people and their culture better. During the third part of the course, we will continue to build your vocabulary, master grammar and improve your listening and speaking skills in Russian. We will keep working on your pronunciation and learn more phrases for traveling and everyday life. You will be able to talk about your actions, express your feelings and thoughts using verbs in the Present, Past and Future Tenses. You will enrich your conversation using adjectives, learn how to use more cases and sound more fluent in Russian. You will be able to ask and answer more questions about yourself and others in Russian. We will also learn about the most amazing places to visit in Russia! More cases, more Russian culture and traditions, more fun. I'm Anastasia and I'm looking forward to become your teacher of Russian language. I'm a Russian native with a Masters Degree in Russian language and World Literature. I have been teaching Russian in Darwin for 5 years. I love teaching and learning languages, dancing, singing, traveling. I'm also a big fan of classical music and ballet. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
