Course Outline

Students will learn elementary vocabulary and basic grammar step by step. The lesson will cover the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and interactive practices through which students can start to use the language actively and develop communication skills. • Learning about the past tense •Talking about where I went and what I did on the weekend • How to express one's desires • Asking someone's opinion or making suggestions • Making an appointment or planning an activity with others • Learning about the expression of inability •How to ask and answer about favourite foods or things Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
