Course Outline

This course will provide conversational & grammatical patterns, giving students the confidence to communicate with Koreans on basic everyday topics. Students will learn more practical expressions and have an opportunity to build communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Korean. • Introducing myself (name,, nationality, and job) • How to say Sino-Korean numbers • Expression to negate nouns • Asking for and giving phone numbers • Names of objects in the room • Talking about the locations of objects Details 8 week schedule Wednesday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
