Course Outline
Saturday fun Workshop 19th September from 10am to 1pm Outline In this workshop students will gain experience in colour selection, stitching and creating a piece of sustainable art. Just bring your imagination and creativity. This is an adult craft class on Saturday morning. Perfect for all skill levels. What is "Cotton Pottery"? it is a unique way to bring a functional, sustainable splash of colour to your office! Make a pencil pot, entirely hand stitched, from upcycled bailing twine sourced from a local farm, with colourful threads and fabric pieces left over from other projects - all saved from landfill. All materials are supplied but bring in large scraps of your favourite fabrics if you like. About your teacher Tamara is a local artist but also has teaching experience. She has 25+ years teaching all levels from kindergarten to university, including art teaching, special education and English as an additional language. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. Joining a course after it has started is at the discretion of administration and the course tutor therefore full course costs may still be incurred. ​In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
