Course Outline

Middle Eastern cuisine is incredibly diverse and flavorful, influenced by various cultures and traditions. This cuisine varies across different countries and regions, so there’s always more to explore! Common ingredients in Middle Eastern cooking include olives, olive oil, pitas, honey, sesame seeds, dates, sumac, chickpeas, mint, rice, and parsley. Traditional meats include mutton, and lamb. Popular Dishes include Kebabs, Dolmas, Falafel, Baklava, Yogurt, Doner kebab, Shawarma, and Mulukhiyah! Join Taghreed who will show you how to cook some tasty traditional recipes! She will show you Arabic recipes for Vegan food, gluten free and foods with meats, Shawarma, salads, dips, plus a range of delicious salads, sweets and desserts! . • Maximum of eight students • Great group activity • Be sure to bring a reusable container in case you have any leftovers! Your instructor: Taghreed has already done cooking classes with Melaleuca and is a confident tutor. She had been in the food industry for 6 years and really knows how to make great food, especially Arabic. She has done courses for baking and cooking, plus has experience in catering for events.
