What You’ll Learn Across the eight weeks, you’ll explore essential everyday Greek, including: Introductions and greetings Talking about family, people, and simple descriptions Greek for travel — accommodation, ordering food, transport, and navigating common situations The Greek alphabet and numbers Fundamental reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills Each session blends practical language use with cultural insight, helping you feel comfortable using Greek in real-life contexts. Meet Your Tutor – Angelika Angelika joins DASC as our new Modern Greek tutor, bringing her experience as a secondary school teacher and a Bachelor of Teaching. Originally from Adelaide, she has recently moved to Darwin to further her teaching career. Passionate about the Greek language and culture, Angelika is excited to share her enthusiasm and expertise with our learners. She can’t wait to begin this journey with you at DASC! CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
