Course Outline: This 8 session course introduces adult learners to the exciting world of Generative AI, focusing on practical, hands on skills using tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity.ai, Lex.page, Gamma.app, and Suno.ai. Participants will begin with foundational knowledge about AI and GPT models, advance through prompt engineering techniques, and explore real-world applications for education, research, content creation, and multimedia production. By the end of the course, learners will confidently apply AI to enhance productivity, creativity, and digital fluency. About you tutor: Marion Himawan is an experienced educator and technology integration specialist with a background in teaching, leadership, and digital innovation. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CDU), a Master of Management (Binus Business School), and a degree in Computer Science and Applied Science (RMIT University). With over 19 years in education and educational technology, Mario has worked as a Technology and Computer Science teacher, schools leader, and professional development facilitator, delivering workshops on AI, robotics, and digital pedagogy. He currently teaches Computer Application, Architectural Design, and Robotics and Electronic System at Darwin High School. Passionate about empowering learners, Mario's expertise in AI, prompt engineering, and generative tools like Chat GPT, Gemini, and Suno helps adults apply AI effectively in the real world.
