“SPANISH ADVANCED!” Want to speak Spanish from your first lesson? Come and join us. This course will provide a solid foundation in vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills focusing the everyday use of the Spanish language. Through images, videos, short texts, audio, games, Spanish literature and other fun activities, you will gain confidence in understanding and using Spanish in various contexts. Spanish Advanced is a level of proficiency in the language. When you reach this stage, you can understand and communicate effectively on a wide range of topics and it opens up exciting opportunities. Our objectives are developing basic communication skills in Spanish, including speaking, listening, reading and writing, building a foundation in pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, developing the ability to engage in simple conversations, and enhance confidence in using Spanish in real-life situations. We will also gain cultural insights into Spanish-speaking countries and communities. Your instructor: ¡Hola! My name is Liliana. I am from South America. I was born in Bolivia and raised in Peru. I am a native Spanish speaker. I moved to Australia in 1997 and have lived in Darwin since. I have been working as a Spanish teacher at Darwin Languages Centre since 2018, teaching the kids from 5 to 18 years old. In 2023, I started teaching Spanish Advanced to adults. My teaching focuses on reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation of the Spanish language.
