Course Outline

Course Outline Taking inspiration from plants and flowers, in this 1-day class, Jacqueline will guide you through the process of creating monotype and relief (block) prints. You will create a small concertina artist book as well as your own unique prints. Jacqueline will demonstrate different carving tools and ways of mark making. You will learn how to mix inks and create blends of colour. This class is ideal for complete beginners or those who have done a class previously, looking to make some new images or hone their skills. Bring your own small plant samples from home or you can collect some from the school’s garden on the day. All materials are supplied. Beware – you’ll be getting inky and creative, so bring an apron or wear something you don’t mind getting ink on! About Jacqueline Jacqueline is a local Artist and Printer living in Humpty Doo. She trained as a Printer in Japan where she lived for 11 years, and has delivered classes and workshops both nationally and internationally. Jacqueline’s most recent exhibition Shifting Tides was at the Northern Territory Library, Parliament House in 2022.
