Course Outline

Join this new and exciting DASC course and learn how to create your own mesmerising Mandala! In this 2-week class, you will be provided with the materials you need to create your own unique pieces of Mandala art. Students can choose from jewellery such as necklaces and earrings, various shaped magnets, coasters, and other decorative or functional items. Students also have the option to provide their own item to decorate if they'd like! What is Mandala? Mandala is a circular figure representing the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism. Explore the creation of Mandala through repetition of patterns to awaken the imagination and calm the mind. About your tutor: My name is Kajal and I am a Dot Mandala artist and the creator of @happymandala_s (Instagram and Facebook). I have always been drawn to the beauty of Mandalas and find so much peace and tranquility within the symmetry and sacred geometry of their designs. I am a self-taught artist, and believe in learning everyday! I am originally from India, where I taught many different types of painting. I've been living in Darwin for the last 15 years, where I've has also taught a variety of Mandala art classes for children, adults and seniors for the local council. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. ​In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
