Service Description

Description: This course continues from the Korean Beginners L3 in Term 1. This course will provide conversational & grammatical patterns, giving students the confidence to communicate with Koreans on basic everyday topics. Students will learn more practical expressions such as activities in chronological order, desires, hobbies, ability. This course will provide an opportunity to build communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing at a basic level in Korean. • Learning more verbs and expressions for wearing • Talking about sequential events • How to express one’s desires • Talking about hobbies • The ability or possibility to do something • Talk about what you're good at and not good at Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
