Service Description

Course description: This introductory course continues from the Korean Beginners L2 in Term 1. Students will learn elementary vocabulary and basic grammar step by step. Students will learn how to express simple ideas such as family, location of people and things, my daily activity. The lesson will cover four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and interactive practices through which students can start to use the language actively and develop communication skills. • Family titles and expressing possessive relation • Talking about a location of people and things • Learning days of the week • Talking about my daily schedule • How to use the negative adverb, 안 Your instructor: Kim Sun Young was born in South Korea and is a native Korean speaker. She always had an interest in teaching and completed her teaching qualification in Korea. She has since taught adults and children both overseas and in Darwin, and also volunteered back in Korea to teach tourists the Korean language. She has been teaching adult education since 2017. She loves teaching children and adults Korean culture and tradition and believes that Korean is beautiful and great to learn as a second language while living in Darwin.
