Course Outline

Children's Eco-Art Workshop: Expressionism art workshops for children: Series of 4 x 3hr workshops which could be booked individually or as a series of all 4. Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January 2026 Age group: 6 to 13 years Workshops could be booked individually or as a series of all 4. Workshop series will include: 1. The Scream 2. Eco art 3. Self portraits in the style of famous artists 4. Fabric collage Workshop Objectives A fun and engaging 3 hour workshop for primary school children focused on using egg cartons and other recycled materials to create their own imaginative characters. ________________________________________ Workshop Schedule * Welcome and Inspiration Welcome and icebreaker, introduction to recycled art, design time * Construction and Crafting Build your character, cutting, joining, attaching accessories. * Finishing Touches and Showcase Decorate and detail, show and tell, wrap up and clean up. ____________________________________ Materials Provided • Art supplies, pencils, paints, brushes, • String, masking tape, staplers, scissors, glue sticks About your Tutor Tamara is a local artist but also has teaching experience. She has 25+ years teaching all levels from kindergarten to university, including art teaching, special education and English as an additional language. Now Tamara is a full time multi media artist and makes beautiful brooches, stuffed toys, baby clothes and much more for her business which you can find on: www.tokpastudio.com.au

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. Joining a course after it has started is at the discretion of administration and the course tutor therefore full course costs may still be incurred. ​In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
