Step into the world of fashion these school holidays with our 4‑Day Fashion Skills Workshop — designed for creative kids aged 12+ who already know their way around a sewing machine. Across four fun, hands‑on days you’ll: *Learn to draft a simple skirt pattern made to your own measurements. All tools and materials are provided. *Design and decorate fabric using dye, stencils, fabric paint and pens, embellishments and anything of your own that you want to bring to class and use. *Sew it together - Build confidence as you stitch your garment with skill and flair. *Showcase your creation - Celebrate with a mini fashion parade where your design takes centre stage. Bring your own accessories to wear on the last day of the workshop for the showcase! This workshop is all about creativity, confidence, and self‑expression. Whether you dream of a career in fashion or just love making things, you’ll walk away with new skills, a handmade garment, and the thrill of seeing your design shine on the runway. Tutor details Jackie is an experienced pattern maker/designer who has industry experience within the UK and New Zealand fashion industries. Having also worked for herself making custom made garments she has a wide knowledge of skills and in particular Pattern Drafting. Jackie has also made wearable art and stage costumes.
