Stand-up comedy is an art form that's been around for centuries. But if you've ever wanted to try it yourself, where do you start? In this course, Nicole will teach you the basics of writing and performing stand-up comedy in just 5 weeks, and at the end, you'll have a performance to show off your new skills! This new and exciting course includes the basics of creating your first 5-minute stand-up comedy routine, including: - Turning stories into stand-up; - Setup & punchline; - Discovering your comedy voice; - Activities for generating material; and - Microphone & stage technique!
