This course will also help you make an informed decision if you're considering purchasing a 3D printer. Course Schedule: Week 1: Introduction to 3D Printing Technology Week 2: 3D Modelling in TinkerCAD Week 3: Slicing 3D Models and Operating a 3D Printer Week 4: 3D Design in Fusion 360 Week 5: Slicing and Printing Complex 3D Objects Week 6: Digital Sculpting in ZBrush Week 7: 3D Modelling with Coding Week 8: 3D Printer Maintenance and Service Recommendations: Students are encouraged to bring a USB/memory stick for storing tutorial videos, presentations, 3D models, slicing files, and other data. Windows desktops equipped with 3D design software and three 3D printers with basic filaments will be available in the classroom. Students may also bring their own devices (laptops) and additional/special filament for modelling and printing practice.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
